 Juan Benito came to France in the 1970’s, and worked at first in both Saint Tropez and Montmartre, where he drew the attention of Katia Granoff, one of the biggest Parisian art dealers, in 1973. Benito exhibited his work in her gallery side by side with other famous signatures such as Marc CHAGAL. In addition to his life as an artist, Benito has also led a career as a toreador, fighting alongside EL CORDOBES, among others.Bullfighting is a subject that he paints with a great deal of sensitivity and emotion. His canvases capture the choreographic movement and sensations of the art of bullfighting.
