George Gallo
George Gallo was born in 1956. He began painting at an early age and was especially attracted to landscapes as a way to express himself. He studied under the Russian master George Cherepov in Greenwich, Connecticut for three years.
Gallo's approach is to paint outdoors en plein air no matter the size of canvas.
He considers the act of painting a performance. He is very much inspired by the
works of Edward Redfield and Daniel Garber, both masters of the Pennsylvania Impressionist movement.
