Carl Camiré
Born in Montreal in 1963.
Camiré completed his studies in fine arts at the Édouard Montpetit
College and a course specializing in commercial illustration. He then
became the artistic director of a magazine for six years. Afterwards, he
established himself in Guadeloupe where he worked as a set designer.
During this period, he concentrated himself on painting. Once back in
Quebec, being filled with inspiration and warm colours, he continued to
paint with passion and feverish energy.
Camiré’ s paintings bring us into another dimension where Nature’s
temperament is brought forth, reminding us of its importance and of its
immensity. Thus, reminding us of our own vulnerability.
